I handled the creator True Crime Recaps for one full year on four different platforms:
‣ YouTube, ‣ Facebook, ‣ Instagram and ‣ TikTok.
My team was in charge of editing, scheduling and developing posting strategies for the page.
Following are some top performers from my management period.
‣ YouTube
For our YouTube videos, we worked with the raw camera footage delivered by the creators and added b-roll from news sites, public archives, CCTV cameras or gettyimages.
We streamlined the process to be able to edit every case as fast as possible for all platforms with the available resources.
Our main objective was to deliver the highest quality edit in the shortest amount of time to be able to stay on top of developing current cases.
YouTube videos were shortened for Facebook, and adapted to adhere to community standards.

Father Gets Revenge On Live TV! 👀 11,9 mill. views - 🔗 FB Link
True Crime cases with real footage, live footage or CCTV footage were always used in the first minute as a hook. That’s what makes it True Crime and more interesting for the audience, as gruesome as it sounds.

Any current case solved in a peculiar manner has a great potential. Unsolved cases are harder to popularize.
‣ TikTok
Content for TikTok needs to feel as platform-native as possible. That’s why we keyed Chris and Amy out and used TikTok’s native graphics and music.
